2022 Winter Olympics – Where?

Beijing in China has been confirmed as the host city for the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Surprised? While the capital may not be known for winter sports, there are a number of ski resorts in the surrounding suburbs; but the Games will rely heavily on a large amount of artificial snowmaking for the snow-based events.

Apparently there are 10 ski resorts in various locations and snowboarding is growing in popularity.
